One of the worlds worst disasters is religion. Everyone has their own beliefs and each person believes they are right. How do you know your right? Science is the most reliable source to depend on because it bases everything on hypothesis and finding the conclusion and proof of something. Science hasn’t proven any religion yet. So how do you know for sure your religion is right? Sure we have books that explain the way everything was created, but how can we understand the books? Certain words could have meant something different in the old days and those people that believe they know whats right, could be wrong. So what are your opinions on science and faith?
Defenders of faith often withdraw into the whole epistemological argument that we can’t know anything and we all use faith to an extent. While this may be true, I like to believe that scientists have ‘faith in the evidence’ while believers simply have faith, either in a book or their own religious experience, but they don’t question what they believe, read or experience. Scientists doubt scientific knowledge all the time by putting theories through rigorous experiments and actually testing what we know.
What are some sports that don’t make you gain muscle too much but help you slim up? Please give me some examples. I know cardio is good, but what would be some others? And is yoga good to get slimmer too?
And is that "step-machine" good for sliming up too?
Running and swimming are both examples of great exercise regimes that do not ‘bulk’ a person up. You could also investigate dancing, and if you don’t think dancing is a ‘sport,’ boy are you in for a surprise! Dancing is a great way to exercise while doing something truly enjoyable!
Yoga is never a bad thing. Pilates is also great!
I am a young lady intending to travel next year to Europe and go backpacking around Europe. I love to shop whenever I arrive at a new place & I just can’t help but buy. If I am traveling alot I’ll have to carry less baggage with me so please help me plan my trip. Your contributions are much appreciated. Thanks all.
Carry bare essentials only since you will be shopping. Try mailing stuff back to your home by the cheapest possible route- i.e by sea. When packing use the 50% rule i.e. afer packing , try removing half. Happy travelling.
My brother and his family are having a huge bonfire in a couple weeks. They are supplying soda, chips, hot dog, and hamburgers along with a few other foods. No one is obligated to bring foods but everybody does. I just don’t know what to bring. My Husband is getting alcohol, but I would also like to bring food too. (I am not a chef but I am a very good cook, and baker.)
okay enough s’mores suggestions and why put something not even remotely helpful?
a meat/vegetable cassorole (stew) with your home made bread. its the perfect to warm people up on them cold nights! you could quite easily warm it up in the microwave at your brothers?
